Welcome to Coventry Local Policing Unit
In a first for Coventry Police, we have hosted a series of live web chats throughout April.
Every Monday a different team of officers will be live online inviting anyone who lives, works or studies in Coventry to quiz them about neighbourhood policing.
We recognise that many people in our communities now prefer to speak to us online rather than come to traditional police and residents’ meetings.
During the web chats you can ask us anything - about issues that affect you or your family, what our jobs entail, what our priorities are where you live - we’ll try and answer as many questions as we can as openly as possible.
Thank you to everyone who has joined our last three chats:
- Henley and Longford web chat with Inspector Wes Martin and Sergeants Adrian Murray and Phil Capey on 8 April
- Foleshill web chat with Inspector Wes Martin and Sergeant Craig Rayson on 15 April
- • Willenhall and Binley web chat with Inspector Kerry Young and Sergeant Jason Newell on Monday 22 April
If you missed any of these chats you can replay them by looking in the ‘Find out More’ section of this website under 'Live Web Chats'.
The next chat is for Coventry city centre, Spon End, Hillfields and Stoke – hosted by Inspector Dayle Speed on Monday 29 April between 12pm and 1:30pm. To join the chat and have your say, simply click ‘play’ below between 12pm and 1:30pm on Monday.
There is no need to sign in to join the chat and you can ask questions completely anonymously if you want to. You can also pre-submit your questions to us on Twitter @coventry_police using #webchat.
